Asbestos Analysis & Monitoring

Asbestos Analysis & Monitoring

In accordance with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Stellar Environmental only use UKAS accredited organisations to undertake bulk analysis and air monitoring for asbestos.

All forms of air monitoring are catered for:

4 Stage Clearance Monitoring

Following the removal of asbestos, it is a legal requirement to ensure that the material has been removed safely and that the area is suitable for normal occupation. The process is known as four-stage clearance. At Stellar Environmental, we have a dedicated team able to undertake this work, alongside management of asbestos abatement projects.

Leak Monitoring

Leak monitoring is a vital part of any asbestos abatement project and is performed during the asbestos removal operation in the areas protected by the contractor’s negative pressure enclosure. These air tests are a means of ensuring the integrity of the asbestos enclosure and that asbestos fibres are not being released into surrounding areas.

Background and Reassurance

This type of air monitoring is useful where there are concerns regarding the presence of asbestos, or can be used as part of an overall monitoring strategy designed to manage asbestos related risk.
